Carbon dioxide is important for insulation it lets some radiation from the sun in to our atmosphere and keeps it there, it reflects the rest back into space. Burning coal, oil and lumber release carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. What effect do you think more carbon dioxide has on our weather patterns: variations have occurred naturally throughout history, hu(cid:373)a(cid:374) a(cid:272)ti(cid:448)ities: (cid:862)(cid:272)li(cid:373)ate for(cid:272)i(cid:374)gs(cid:863, 32% more co2 than at beginning of industrial era. Impact is: global warming: 1-6 degrees over next century. Overall, temperatures are rising: artic could have ice-free summer by 2040. Weather patterns are also becoming more and more unstable.
