Conventional: right is what agrees with rules established by tradition and authority i. e. heinz should steal drug and accept prison punishment. Postconventional: what is right is derived from universal principles i. e. heinz should steal the drug because it"s unfair: community rights and individual right orientation, universal ethical principles orientation. Moral reasoning is correlated with socioeconomic states, intelligence, education level.
