Within the environment we have a society which is a group of people who co-exist with one another. Society is made up of a variety of different people who play different roles, and relate to one another through politics, culture, and institutions. The economy is a system that organizes the production, distribution, and consumption of goods and services. Brings it all together to meet the needs and wants of the consumption. There needs to be a balance between the need for economic development and the need to sustain the resources on which development depends. The economy draws from the sources that the environment provides.
