Increases foraging/predation efficiency milkweed: capacity to overcome specialized plant defences provides competitive, defensive advantages milkweed, monarchs are toxic to predators. Insects have small brains: may not be able to recognize different species, stuff that"s edi(cid:271)le and stuff that isn"t.
