Allied powers were hesitant to step in and intervene while the fascist powers were eager to help. This con ict in spain becomes romanticized, drawing communists from around europe in to ght on behalf of the brigade. Had no training, was a writer, but after marching in a square one day he was handed a rearm and allowed to ght. Revealed to be sham, dissolves because it doesn"t do anything of use with the real con ict of spain. Germany and destroy it for a long time - the money requested of it were absolutely absurd thus causing extreme resentment from the germans towards the allied powers. Hitler identi es that germany needs to uni ed and at that uni ed with other german-speaking lands (ex. Austria rigs an referendum and thus supports such german fascist uni cation essentially becoming one nation with germany.
