Lecture industrialization and urbanization in britain (1820-1850) Agricultural improvements and water-power equipment are the start of the industrial revolution people are developing newer and better way to do things. Age of fear of technologies, of disease, etc. British prosperity on the backs of the lower classes working conditions are inhumane, children as young as six and women can work underground, no job security, injury results in you losing your job. O"connor starts the newspaper the northern star, and he is very influential he created the sense of pride of working class peoples.
