We are the cusp of what environmental ethics is and what it will become: we have at this moment a genuine opportunity to: Envision really new solutions, radically novel paths of action. A course of action becomes harder and harder to change as we go along. Do(cid:374)"t just apply the old ideas a(cid:374)d theories that (cid:449)e ha(cid:448)e a(cid:271)out the environment: these are concepts that were developed for another time, another context, come up with new concepts, new ideas. Use it as an opportunity to grow, not just follow old preferences: use your imagination, be active! Get out there, move around, be in the place where the challenge is.
