Document Summary
Myopia (nearsightedness) good at seeing things that are close to them. But bad at seeing things that are far. Refractive myopia these people have normal shaped eyeballs but their cornea is too powerful, which bends the light too much, it has to do with the cornea and the lens working together. Cures: wearing glasses (concave glasses) which bends the light so the light gets broadened out so it comes to a focal point on the back of your eye. Another cure is excime lasik laser therapy, they change the shape of the cornea to help to deal with nearsightedness. Hyperopia (farsightedness) see things that are far away really well. They can not see the things that are close to them. They can not bring things that are close into focus because they can not bend the light enough to make it come to a focal point.
