Social psych group behaviour: at the heart of social psychology, how we interact and act within groups. A group exist when two or more people define themselves as members of it and when its existence is recognised by at least one other (brown, 2000; p. 3) . Group elements: some central elements in conceptualisation of a group, common goal, social structure, face-to-face or some form in interaction, self-categorisation. There is nothing more to a group than the people who comprise it: collectivist (e. g. , sherif, 1936) There is something more to a group than just the people who comprise it. Us as human act differently in the presence of others. Norms are ways of specifying what are acceptable (or unacceptable) attitudes and behaviours of group members. Central norms there are punishments if broken. General norms good to follow them but there is no punishment if you don"t.
