PSYC 3390 Lecture Notes - Lecture 1: Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Dsm-5, Benzodiazepine
Document Summary
Constant anxious thinking and excessive worrying often characterize adults and children who suffer from intense anxiety. In order to be diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder (gad), the dsm-5 requires a child to report suffering from excessive anxiety most days for at least six months, along with a minimum of 1 physical symptom.
