Women and minorities are very low in police. Issues women were often not recruited because the physical task were created with male capabilities in mind. In 1990 physical tests for females were changed to fit the capabilities of women. Skepticism visible minorities have problems with previous problems with the police. Which makes it less likely for them to join. Women perform as well as men as officers. And create better public relation and have a higher job satisfaction. Proactive police discover the crime on their own through competing their job. Reactive responding to reports from the public. Waiting for people to call and report crime.
