Deven was smoking pot, and when lights are bothering you it usually means that you are high/drunk. Edits out the part where he asks officer if he is really a cop. Argument had to parties but this video does not show that. Took out the part where deven refused to give his license: problem: tyrannical police vs. citizens. Extends this issue to a broader problem. Connects it to police violence against minorities: solution: use of force standards. Example: young people should carry their license on them. Crime or poverty: constructed the issue as squeegee kids as criminals. Victimizing innocent (cid:498)women and children(cid:499) obviously they would not only clean women and children(cid:495)s windows.
