Whenever there is war people get ready to sacrifice and mobilize. A recognizable enemy that must be defeated. Monitor borders and be suspicious in order to protect national security. Be suspicious because there is enemy, keep your eyes open for people who want to do harm. If you challenge that logic people are quick to judge you about being unpatriotic. Terrorism as crime : us and uk press happens more, when you call something a crime and you imply that it is never. Terrorism is a crime and by calling that it should be unacceptable: we don"t negotiate with criminals. Anything you call a crime, takes the criminal and you think they are not worthy of negotiation, reflection etc. Terrorism as evil : you construct simplistic binary. So when you imply they are evil, clearly we are the source of good: victim is complete opposite.
