Drift theory: that individuals are not delinquent 24/7; there are some times when these youths can be really decent individuals. Drift between the conventional lifestyle and their deviant lifestyle. Routine activity theory: that criminals are rational they way the risks and benefits there are three elements: motivated offender, suitable target and absence of a capable guardian.
