On to today: economic factors in media production. Way in to linking these big structures to this little scenario. What are the economic interests being served here who"s benefiting and what structures are benefiting/ how? (whos making & how) The different economic structures of broadcast tv & netflix influence how you use these different media. Broadcast tv relies primarily on economic structure of advertising blocks tied to specific shows. Netflix relies primarily on an economic structure of consumer subscriptions.
