The gaze= the anxiety created by the narcissisic idea that the image is always looking back, we are visible in the imaginary and symbolic order. Adverising is only 20% directed at our consciousness. Women are deined by a lack of subjecivity, they are objects. The object of our looking is always sexualized and we derive great pleasure from looking. Women are just the object of men"s desire. Women have a lack of a phallus, seen as castrated.
