Document Summary

Injected into the subsoil which reduces odour and prevents manure runoff from the land into surface water. The liquid manure you spray onto the top of the soil, but within 24 hours you have to be out there working it into the soil. If your spreading it on a pasture, where you cant work it in you will have to go with a liquid manure injection method. Sprinkling ( ne mist ) of vegetable oils in barn ( ex- canola oil. It will bind the dust particles and pull the odour in with it reducing the smell ) Exhaust through moist organic lter ( such as straw or wood chips although you will have to replace them quite regularly ) Diet formulation - reduce n excretion ( only feed what is needed ) Solid manure generates reduced odour than liquid manure. The urine hold more nitrogen and the manure has little nitrogen in it all together.
