Evidence that demonstrates the relationship between asian and indigenous north and south. Physical characteristics (dental morphology) asians and aboriginal populations have very similar tooth structure (shovel shaped incisors). This is common to populations in china as well. Dna evidence mitochondrial dna and comparison of y - chromosomes of living northeast asian and new world populations show a shared genetic inheritance. Haplogroups (a, b, c, d, x), groups that share a set of dna variations. We see all five groups common in central siberia (north east populations and asia). Clovis burial that dates about 13,000 years ago. Dna recovered from the skeletal remains confirms relationship between clovis and northeast asian populations. Located in montana u. s. discovered in 1968 in sandstone. It found many clovis artifacts as well as a buried child covered in red ochre and clovis goods. 18 month old child died 13 000 years ago.
