In vba, unlike excel in general, we have to specify data types (the types of data we will be working with). It has some impact on how some expressions are evaluated. It"s better to specify what the data is at the end. A program transforms data from input to output. Need data to be in correct format for processing by programming statements. Often a program has to remember data while it"s running. There are some rules we need to variable. A valid variable name must contain only these values: Inside a function and inside a sub, we"ll need to create a statement that declares a variable. Vba sets the space aside, and does not care about what"s in it. Always do this, even if you assign 0 or an empty string. Creating a macro allows you to automatically create a sub.
