Every day, we"re making decision after decision individually that doesn"t help the decision even once the effort has been made for you (how many insulating mugs just sit in your cupboard, unused, because you already have one or choose to use the disposable ones. the option of being repeatedly and continuously unsustainable was given (because the disposable cups were made available: why is it that our governing structures continue to permit the production of throw away cups when the same company will sell you a durable/reusable container. Demographics: a look at the current traditions and trends in an attempt to predict and manage the future could be geographically assigned (regional, etc: browse around the federal government census website try to statistically look at changes over time, how much has the population changed (in just plain numbers of people) effects how we plan/design/develop.
