Most of the jobs are in the service sector. Women and young people are holding low-paid and insecure jobs: described as second-rate job, difficult to unionize. Women are expected to live in impossible standards (super)women in the workforce. A lot of grandmothers were the main basis of support during the 80s. Discrimination in workplace because of past, present or future pregnancies, resulting in maternity leaves. Men are viewed as being committed to careers. Even more heroic is a gendered lens within the workplace.
