Thomas young (1773-1829) he didn"t come up with the idea that light is more like a wave but he provided solid evidence for the case. Had a light source and a wall with 2 slits in it, he wanted to observe what light patterns you see beyond the board. If light is made of particles then you would see 2 strict bans of light. But what he saw was a type of light that oscillates, best described as a wave model.
