Document Summary

Your degree doesn"t define who you aare, and here"s. I did a master"s degree at uwaterloo, but i"m also fortunate to have one of the best part-time weekend gigs ever. I get paid to watch sports as a stadium announcer. I"ve been doing it at uwaterloo for the past 4 seasons, i did it at western for 3 seasons, and in 2016, i became the first. U sports announcer to announce at the olympic games. When i was a kid, i"d collect sports sections and put them under my bed. There"d be so many that my parents were worried about it being a fire hazard, but my love of sports was always there. Working in university athletics is one of the most rewarding experiences. I also make it a point to treat student-athletes not as stars and scrubs on a roster sheet, but as people friends with their own quirks and personalities.
