Zeus jumped into the mediterranean and swam to crete and europa gave birth to king minos. =cadmus was europa"s brother who was told by his father to find her. =apollo told him she"s fine and to follow a cow, and wherever it lays down, he must sacrifice it to athena. =he kills the cow but needs water and he tells a servant to go get it by a spring. =a snake (son of hermes) ate the servant and cadmus killed it. = athena tells him to take the serpents teeth and plant them like seeds.
