A)tantalus = he was sinned and punished with never getting food in the underworld. During the time, the humans and gods were eating together. Tantalus killed his son, pelops, and served his son to the gods, but they found out and didn"t get him except for demeter who ate a part of his should without realizing since. The gods put pelops back together and gave him a prosthetic shoulder: hippodamia (daughter of king oenomaus of elis) =pelops fell in love with her and he went to get her hand in marriage from the king. =oenomaus says they will hold a contest where the suitor will carry hoppodamia in a chariot and they will race to corinth but oenomaus will be chasing them with a spear.
