Document Summary
The bibsearch system was implement by c gather with sql and the static embedded sql protocol base on db2. The system can be divided by two parts: bibauthor and bibmait. Bibauthor is implemented as an searching application printing the publication records for each publication for searched author. Sin(cid:272)e the results is needed sorting (cid:271)y date and first author s name. Firstly, sort the publication form as required and find the records under the input author. Secondly, match the type for the record with books, journals, proceedings or articles. Finally, print the records one by one using cursor. Bibmait is implemented to insert and update the publication information in the database. After recognize the type of data read in, the program will call isolate but parallel method for each type. Then, insert or update sql statement will be determined and generated depends on whether the input record is existed or not to complete the requests.
