De-growth and other movements potential for alliances, interacts with other movements as well as interacts with the south: first contradiction of capitalism. Concentration of wealth in the hands of a few inhibits further circulation of capital. Over production and under consumption: second contradiction of capitalism. Second contradiction of capitalism over exploitation of nature. Maintain surplus, value must be overdrawn from either labour. More exploitation of land/or workers, the less able it will be to sustain production over a long period of time. Scarcity if not a natural condition but is produced by capitalism.
