Good drainage : gravity water readily transported through soil to groundwater table, soil does not undergo prolonged periods of saturation. Parent material: all the soils formed in deposits laid down by geomorphic processes, wind, glacial meltwater, ocean waves, floods, landslides. Planning considerations for solid waste disposal: solid waste, municipal and household wastes, hazardous waste, industrial, agricultural, military, nuclear, site selection sitting criteria, cost, land use and environment, site conditions.
