Quiz has up to 15/16 max questions (3/4 short answer) Barnes maze-spatial memory (go over the readings for the quiz) 4 different extensively used techniques in neuroscience (also can be used for other parts of the body) but focus on neuroscience. 1 position emission tomography (pet) scan: activity in different regions of the brain. Person will be injected with a radioisotope tracer. Large magnet when its dark will have a magnetic field. Protons will align with the magnetic field. Current will pass through (radiofrequency are going to realign these protons and will push them from the way they were originally aligned) When there is no current these protons want to realign. As they realign they will release some kind of energy and will be detected by the scanner.
