Technology is the science and art of getting things done through the application of skills and knowledge. Technology is the (human) capacity to organize and use physical infrastructure, machinery and equipment, knowledge and skills. Adds a number of components that can help you. Technology is the practical application of science to solve real-world problems. Resource abundance and shortages assist in development and diffusion. When in a crisis, you create and invent. Technologies can be created independently but also bought, copied, and stolen. Commerce and warfare have contributed to technological development and diffusion. Technological disparities have led to the conquest of nations. Social scientists see interaction between technology and society in two ways: technological determinism: technology drives the evolution of society. Extent to which we are influenced by technology in everyday life: social determinism: social interaction drives the development and use of tools. Technology is not good or bad, it is what people do with it that matters.
