Italy: started late; didn"t completely industrialize, mainly in the north. Japan: last 25 years in the 19th century, started to advance and modernize to compete with europeans, did it quickly, austria, very slow and incomplete industrialization, russia, late and uneven industrializing, large population however compensated.
