When using terms such as psychopath in relation to nazis, it excuses their behavior; as if they were not aware of what they were doing, and not culpable. Germany in the 20th century was considered the very height of civilization (in every area: education, politics, music, etc. ) Most people involved in planning how to kill that many people, were highly educated. It is an easy route to take to call them insane, when indeed, they were not. Vogner? wrote a track incredibly anti-semitic: about how jews could not be involved in the beauty of music because jews cannot be associated with anything called beautiful. Jews identiied with disease (imagery of rats leads to connection b/w jews and rats, although no connection whatsoever). ^^ convenient because now that people associate jews as dirty, no one will complain about them living in ghettos (although nazis put them there) Painted them as the classic middlemen (they don"t create anything).
