If a thief is caught breaking in and you kill them, you have a right to defend yourself. If it happens during the day however, you will be fined for blood guilt. If someone intentionally causes a field or vineyard to be grazed over, they have to make restitution from the best of their field. You have to swear by god that you did not steal. You can eat food from someone else"s land but you can not take it with you in a container - by chance you sell it to someone else. If you go into a neighbours field of corn and take one or two, that"s fine, but you can not take a bag/container full. If a man is caught kidnapping another citizen or enslaving them, this is punishable by death. If food falls off your wagon or are harvesting, dont be selfish and leave a little bit for the poor.
