How our behavior and views have changed on sexual deviance depending on time, place etc. Changing family form throughout history to understand the role of sexual practice and sexual behavior. Gives us good insight of evolution of our sexual mores and values that we have today. Evolution of sexual expression, behavior and philosophy changed over time. As society progress, the philosophical support for repressing our sexuality. That pattern changes once we see emergence of early christian church. This idea of repression continues to play a role in sexual attitudes and behaviors. Characteristics that grew out of necessity becomes of status of jews at the time. Because of their circumstance and core religious values of these tribes they were persecuted by other tribes. Lived in harsh, physical, social and political environment. They then developed a strong sense of community and family that helped them make it through.
