Here are some of the things that he suggests. First, interconnectedness we and the other with whom we are in con ict are connected. They know it at the center of their being. They know that there is connectedness, and they want to foster improved connectedness. Good con ict resolution practitioners know that they don"t have the answers. They know that they need the wisdom of everyone in the room to nd a way through. They know that they probably don"t have a clue as to what is actually happening. Third is to develop the discipline of curiosity: this is related to humility. Not knowing inspires a desire to know more. Also, this is a stance that moves us from judgment. But this absence of judgment is also a product of humility. I know that i am often wrong, that i often act from mixed motives, that i often make mistakes.
