Talking about the psychological stuff, this heavily symbolic stuff. We like to preserve and protect our symbols , for many people the symbols that are important to them are reflective of that broader order of the ways things should be (eg. death penalty). If you"re dead, you"ll be treated as sacred property unlike overt function law where priority is given to the living. Before perspective when it relates to death: we"re talking about before death of any type happens, event far in the future. Wishes (influenced by): ignorance- you can"t choose what you don"t know as an option, (eg. Green burial (in the us): getting an individuals body as quickly as possible underground without any chemicals or non biodegradable materials, buried in a wooden box or anything that"s degradable). Family systems- because we"re connected to family, relationships can drive decisions.
