Interviewed 18,000 people about their sexual practices what kind of things they engaged in. Even if you have 18,000 people this doesn"t mean that you have a good estimate of what practices are like. Only able to interview those who were willing to be interviewed. In the 1940s and 50s this may be a reflection of those who were a little more free with their sexual attitudes. Kinsey had a unique way of asking questions, he assumed that everybody had done everything. Led a number of people to believe that the subjects were coerced into answering the questions the way he wanted them to.
