Document Summary

An integrative model of offending monday, oct 5, 2015. Temperament (ans responsivity): often applied to infant, common in dev psych, temperament is one of the que things that differentiate infants. A lot of dispositional characteristics like personality we don"t talk about in regards to infant, for example a 2 month old being loyal or compassionate. We talk about them from birth being different by virtue of their temperament like how irritable or how easy going they are. Tends to shape us throughout our life. a lot of the personality differences seem to emerge from these basic tendencies to be easily overwhelmed (more protective), trying to shield yourself more from stimulation. Seem more irritable because things bug you faster, you feel them more strongly so you get overwhelmed. Or some people are drawn to stimulation, want it, search out for it. People are either extreme might be more inclined towards criminal behaviour.
