Typically men score higher on dominance tests. More sdo associated with more tendency to legitimize hierarchy to enhance social policy. Working as police officer increases your social dominance orientation, or their personalities make them want to be a police officer. Old fashion; explicitly saying some grps better than others. Modern; endorsing ideologies that allow discrimination to continue. Subtle; likes idea of fairness but not concerned if actuality isn"t fair.
