The transportation system along w/ infrastructure that supports it, plays the most significant role in tourism: if visitors cannot reach their destinations, then none of the other tourism components are needed. Transporting a vistor to a chosen destination begins the tourism experience. If it is unique, travels fast or does something unusual you can be sure tourists will want a ride. Henry fords inivention of automomobile that has had the most impact on transportation. It changed not only travel methods, but also travels accessibility gave birth to modern tourism sector. The availability of the right infrastructure and suprastructure harbours and ports. Cost transportation is a large portion of a travel budget. The more fam members you have travelling together, the more cost impacts your choice. Service- how well the cx treated once under control of the transportation company cosen. Eg service on a plane by flight attendants.
