Document Summary
Week 2 - introducion to theories of lifespan development. A way to explain an event or behavior. An explanaion on how and why facts are related to each other. Theories provide info from an abstract or larger prospecive rather then looking at speciic info. Looking at the whole lifespan (how do we make sense of all the events that occur in one"s life course) Social psychology and how people apply stereotype, it makes us more eicient. 4 stages of the lifespan began at birth and extended ill old age. Youth and midlife are not a stage (important because it shows the middle point of someone"s life) We were very dependent on other in our childhood. We are living within out own collecive conscious. 4th dimension without ime and space task was to emerge from the universal unconscious. We are born from a collecive unconscious. We start there and slowly get out of it.
