Very important stage, so many changes occur, physical, emoional, mental. It begins when you are locked up to not in the child stage: grade 7 and 8. It ends when you take on more responsibility: adulthood begins. Transiion between childhood to emerging adulthood, that begins with puberty and includes a number of biological events that leads to an adult sized body and sexual maturity (conceive a child) Early adolescence: 11/12 14 years, most rapid pubertal changes, hormones increase, physical development begins, primary and secondary characterisics. Middle adolescence: 14 16 years, changes slow down, young men are under going more rapid changes compared to women. Sociological: the environment and the context in which it occurs, historical perspecive adolescence changes depending on where/when you live. Psychiatric symptoms: negaive period, looks like someone should be commited for their mental health, are not able to manage these impulses.
