Social web is weak and therefore more likely to engage in crime vs. Career prospects stable relationships and other financial obligations make a person less likely to commit a crime. Age compression (12-24) more likely to have a say in criminal activities like theft, break and enter cars/houses. Most of them fall into the dumb category- Premise- our society has canadian dream ( great job, car) and there are legitimate means to achieve it. Crime stems from gap between culturally approved means and our failure to meet our goals.
