Yeah i committed a crime but at least i am not a sex offender inmates are low in the totem pole in our society and they want to feel better: inmates do not see them as true criminals. Inmates would trust other criminals but not undesirables. Professor leo johnson, caught for child molesting, got a lot of publicity for adopting refugee kids whom he was molesting. He married one of his kids who was 16 and he was nearly 50. In prison you are judged by the people you keep/ associate with. There are chances where people are in prison and others don"t know that they are sex offenders once you find out you should stop being friends from them: repercussions. If you harm undesirables you will get maybe 5 years in prison, if you harm guards you may get life in prison: rewards.
