Celestial beings were added to the scale. All manner of life and spiritual beings. All situated around the idea of merely existing, to having life, to having movement and appetite. Spiritual beings were anything that had a soul - rid yourself of the appetites and desires that were a part of the physical realm. Humans were a part of both realms because they also had a soul. Within the labels, there were subdivisions based on rank, class (humans), food chain (animals), growth (plants) etc. The physical world is in a state of becoming, the spiritual world is a state of being, you are and you always were and will be.
