Document Summary

A binary does not change the basic characteristic of the number, so a number that is a prime number in the base 10 system will remain a primary number in the binary system as well. However, we have always tried to do mathematical operations in the decimal system. This is obviously different in the binary system as 1+ 1 is no longer 2, but now becomes 10. So lets try to find a way to quickly add/subtract things in the binary system. So lets look at adding one bit, so. Here notice that adding two ones together makes the answer into two digits instead of one. The rest of the results do not effect the answer found. Once this is done, we can add any two binary digits using these rules, only making sure that when we encounter two 1,s we carry a 1 to the next sum while leaving the current position as a 0.
