Mass production line/assembly line: one of ford"s innovations, where he applied assembly line techniques to manufacturing cars (where the processes in manufacturing a car was broken down to specific tasks for each component) Henry ford"s assembly line had allowed 1 car to be manufactured every 90 minutes. He raised workers wages so they themselves could become the consumers (therefore they would have enough money to purchase their vehicles), the prices of the vehicles also dropped. 1950s: the majority of american families had at least one car.
