Main idea: real solutions will come from business. They believe that this will fix sustainability problems, with social businesses! Over 10 years ago, there was a very very different language; didn"t wanna be targeted. Then in 2005, changed walmart came and made a huge promis. We"re integrating sustainability principles and practices into everything we do . But then: there was an economic crash, though, in 2006-07. And people looked at walmart and saw they were telling the truth : walmart was getting the better produce, better products. You could see that they had gotten into different areas (like. Nicaragua) and stabilized, stamped in, these safe and better products. As others rose in prices, walmart turned to undercut local business even more. Then, 2009 passes and tons of other companies followed walmart"s sustainability suit, and race. Businesses shifted to becoming claims of major sustainers ; they criticize lag of states, criticize p. t. a.
