One of a recent phenomenon known as the arab spring has been an interesting topic for many political scientist. 8 countries were highly affected by the arab spring that started from a local vendor who puts himself on fire after the government took away his vendor. Upon looking at arab spring incident scientifically, i distinguish both the dependent and independent variable. Dependent variable in this case is the arab spring uprising in some countries. Empirically, we could see which countries are affected by the. The independent variable is the economics performance in countries measured through one of the ways and specifically unemployment rate. This causal relationship seems to have a negative slope or negative correlation. The higher the unemployment rate of the country, the more aggression or the more reason for the country to be affected by the uprising of arab spring. I choose this economic performance specifically because of what actually started the arab spring.
