Like one meter : to give it to thousands of people so we can have a baseline of performance and an understanding of how many different people do on the same questions. Intelligence quotient (iq): the standard unit of intelligence, where 100 is the typical, average score; values below 100 imply less intelligent and those above 100 imply more intelligence.
